SimBin Development Team, producer of RACE the WTCC Game, have launched the 2008 Virtual WTCC, which is expected to dramatically expand the community of the WTCC fans.
Players may register online, and attempt to qualify using the ''best lap'' mode on any of the WTCC racetracks. Those who have, either the online version of the RACE 07 game installed or the demo, must press the ''In Game Register'' button in the World Leader board menu, and a registration tool will popup. The ''In Game Register'' button will then change into a ''Ranking Servers'' button, which is where the action begins.
Performances will be monitored through the on line World Ranking system hosted on the www.race-game.org website.
The best ten players will be invited to the WTCC events in Valencia, Pau, Brno, Anderstorp and Oschersleben to take part in the semi-finals on simulators. The five semi-final winners will take part in the final at Monza, competing to win a Chevrolet road car.
